Circuit of panoramic sheds |  Impressive sheds

In Estri, more specifically in the Haut-Saint-Franకోois sector, a circuit of eight beautiful viewpoints connected by road was established. To cover approximately 150 km, we visited three of these stops. The result in pictures.

The stops were carefully selected to highlight the landscape as well as the historical significance. For example, the Shed East Angus lies at the confluence of the rivers Saint-Franకోois and Eaton and highlights the presence of the first aborigines.

From La Patri, we have a view of the lower village, but also the unique panorama of Mont Megantic and its Observatory. As for the cultural aspect, it is dedicated to the poet Eva Seneca of La Patri.

Ascot Corner stoppoint on the banks of the Saint-Franకోois River is an oasis of serenity. The single-pitch roof is also old Sheds.

The circuit has been in existence since 2020, but it is getting better every year. Each stop has a map to see other stops nearby.

In East Angus, the rest area is on the Parc des Duke Rivieres. Beyond the river views (as the name of the park suggests!), You can get the chance to cross-cross the nearby hiking trails.

Along the way, you can also admire the many bird houses painted by students from a school in East Angus.

The kilometers of road you swallow between the stops allows you to cross this part of the eastern townships and think about its landscape.

The Shed D’Ascott Corner was the latest to join the circuit last fall. In addition to what we visited, the rest were in Weiden, Cookshire-Eaton, Hampden, Lingwick and Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton. New stops are also planned. To be continued!
