DUBERGER – A man has died after a car crash in the Les Souls area of Quebec.
The incident happened at 4:15 p.m., near Boulevard Mason. The motorcyclist was probably trying to get out of his yard, but did the wrong trick.
When he wanted to take a road that required a 90-degree turn, he lost his balance and tried to pull himself up by giving the steering wheel. Captain Eric Abe of the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) explained that at this moment he was ided with another oncoming vehicle.
The 68-year-old man, a motorcyclist, regained consciousness and breathed his last and was rushed to hospital. However, his condition quickly deteriorated and he died a few hours later.
At 6:45 p.m., Boulevard Mason closed to traffic from Boulevard Pere-Lelivre. Investigators were sent from the SPVQ, Forensic Identity Unit to shed light on the circumstances that led to the clash.
