Cole Cofield wins again in overtime

For the second time in duels, Cole Cofield gave the Montreal Canadians victory in overtime. On Monday night at the Bell Center, the youth sensation allowed his team to win 3-2 over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The first round pick (15th overall) in 2019 gave Queen City their third consecutive CH victory and third victory against the formation of Queen City in eight duels so far this season.

Last Saturday, against the Ottawa senators, Cofield also hit the mark in overtime. It was his first goal in the National League.

Against Leafs, No. 22 was able to play the hero thanks to Philip Donald. Kubeker created the tie in the third and final minute. CH played with six skaters while defeating center player goaltender Jack Campbell, who posted well at the mouth of the net.

Before his cage, Allen looked good in victory. He hit 27 puck and made two significant saves when opponents appeared alone in front of him. At the other end of the ice, Jake Campbell made 20 savings.

The Canadians and Leafs will meet in Toronto on Thursday night, but the formation of Belle Province will first face senators in Ottawa on Wednesday.
