With inflation and rising prices, more and more Cubans are going to thrift stores.

In Renaissance stores, we see the arrival of new customers who are particularly concerned about rising costs in all sectors.

“Today, we have the same portfolio, so how can we live with the kids going to school in September, the holidays coming summer, coming back to face-to-face work?” Eric Saint-Arnad, General Manager, Renaissance.

According to The Léger – Le Journal – TVA – QUB poll was unveiled Thursday75 Quebecars expect to cut their costs. And 12% of respondents believe they have to lower their grocery bill.

“It’s really sad to see people cutting back on their groceries,” laments Mr. Saint-Arnad.

The latter finds that anxiety is high among his customers, for whom budgets seem too tight.

“Rest, you can expect, but food or medicine, you can not expect it. This is not normal, ”he said.
