At one meeting, Dell unveiled the consequences of its notebook series Gaming G15 and Alienware. AMD has been particularly in the spotlight with the newest Raizen 5000, at Alienware for the first time since 2007.
PC range Gaming The premium Alienware m15 R5 is being converted to AMD processors for the first time in 14 years with the Raison 5000 edition. Dell is also upgrading its PCs Gaming The entry level G15 is for the new generation of graphics cards, but only available on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. While the Intel processors are always the tenth generation, the AMD Raison goes from 4000 to 5000. To equip these PCs, the manufacturer has chosen the Raizen 5 5600H and the Raizen 7 5800H, with up to 2 TB of storage on the SSD 8 with up to 32 GB of on-board RAM.
This model only offers a full HD panel by Dell, but with a 120 or 165 Hz refresh option, it is enough to play smoothly. The connection is similar to the Alienware we just submitted: an HDMI 2.1 port, three USB A 3.2 ports, a USB-C 3.2 port, a headphone jack, an Ethernet port and a WiFi 6 AX1650. As an option, a four-zone RGB backlit keyboard is on sale.
The Alienware and Dell G15 Raison Edition will be available in Europe on May 4, 2021, while the Intel version of the G15 will be released on April 13.
