The Honoré-Mercier Bridge and the Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse Est, in particular, will face blockages so motorists will still have to be patient if they want to travel in Montreal this week.
Honoré-Mercier Bridge
From 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, traffic will be directed in the opposite direction on the bridge toward Kahnawake, with only one lane open in each direction.
“Congestion episodes are expected on Saturday and Sunday, during the day. MTMD recommends that road users traveling between the two banks allow more time to reach their destination,” the transport ministry said in a press release on Thursday.
A-40 East Service Road / Chemin de la Côte-de-Lesse East
In Montreal and Ville Mont-Royal, the A-40 East service road will be completely closed from Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse Est (service road) to access A-40 East (after the traffic circle). Point of Côte-de-Lisse) Friday 10 pm to Sunday 8 pm
Detours are anticipated via A-40, A-15 South and Boulevard Décarie Nord.
Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse Est (service road) between Chemin Devonshire and Boulevard Décarie and access to Décarie Boulevard South from Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse Est will be closed by default.
Highway 40 (Metropolitan)
In Montreal, two of three lane closures and one of two lane closures on the service road will be in place on Highway 40 eastbound between Pie-IX and Vieau boulevards from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Metropolitan Express Network (REM)
REM service disruption from 11 a.m. Friday to 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
Bonaventure Highway/Nist's Island
As a reminder, the ramp from A-10 East (Bonaventure) to the Samuel-de Champlain Bridge will be closed until early September.
