Conservative management candidate Erin O’Toole’s campaign says it has filed a formal complaint with police in search of an investigation of his rival Peter MacKay’s organization.
In a launch late Friday, O’Toole’s marketing campaign claims the complaint will involve the theft of private campaign and tactic information.
It claims the O’Toole campaign’s units were hacked before this 7 days.
It names MacKay campaign organizer Jamie Lall.
In a temporary tweet, Lall mentioned not a solitary phrase of the allegation is real.
The O’Toole release says particulars have been shared with RCMP, Ontario Provincial Law enforcement and Toronto law enforcement.

“We contact on Peter MacKay and his workforce to straight away return and delete any stolen data or video clips now in possession of staff members and volunteers,” the O’Toole campaign said in a launch.
“We further insist on swift co-procedure from Mr. MacKay and his campaign with the RCMP, OPP, and Toronto Police Assistance and the immediate termination of all concerned in this potentially legal motion from their campaign.”
The allegations occur right after MacKay, O’Toole and fellow candidates Leslyn Lewis and Derek Sloan squared off in two management debates this 7 days.
