Ezra Miller was charged with theft for stealing liquor.
The Justice League star, who uses neuter pronouns, was charged with stealing alcohol from a private residence, according to a press release issued by Vermont State Police. He broke into a Stamford home in May and stole “several bottles of alcohol” while the occupants were away. After an investigation, based on surveillance footage and statements, police felt there was enough evidence to charge him.
The 29-year-old actor was finally located Sunday and was summoned to appear Sept. 26 in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Bennington for the theft charge, police said.
This is the latest legal action against the actor who has been in the headlines for months. In June, he was charged with raping a teenage girl and harboring a mother and her three children at his farm in Vermont. Ile was arrested in Hawaii for second-degree assault in March and April, after local police revealed the star received 10 calls while in Hilo.
Despite his legal troubles, the film The Flash, in which he plays the title character, is set to release in June 2023.
