(Washington) Pete Buttigig, the first Secretary of Public Homosexuality in U.S. history to star in Democratic primaries in the 2020 presidential election, and her husband announced Tuesday that they have become parents.
“For a while, Chasten and I wanted to expand our family. We are excited to announce that we have become parents!” Tweeted the 39-year-old transport secretary.
“The process is not over yet and we are grateful for the love, support and respect for our privacy provided to us. We can not wait to say more soon,” said Joe Biden, a former White House candidate and former rival.
Chasten Gleizmann Buttigig shared the same text with Bottle Emoticon on Instagram.
The couple did not give other details, but the motivation of the “process” led many Internet users to adopt.
The minister responded to the tweet with some congratulations, along with photos of their children or adopted relatives.
Pete Buttigig is the former mayor of South Bend, a medium-sized town in the state of Indiana. Unknown to the general public when the Democratic president submitted his candidacy for primaries in April 2019, this ex-soldier who flew through Afghanistan had an asteroid career.
According to the Victory Institute, he was “the first publicly LGBT person to be appointed to a permanent position in the Presidential Cabinet”.
