“I can understand that they are expecting an increase in new variants in the greater Montreal area due to the school break. Therefore, I did not hesitate to reopen before March 26,” explained Gujo Cinemas President.

Under management at Journal, The businessman reiterated his previously announced position of closing his companies until he sells popcorn, sweets or soft drinks to his customers.
“In July and August, I was at 20% of my normal income. But it’s food counters, arcades, in short everything. So if they take half of my income, along with the evening performances due to the curfew … it is impossible to be profitable,” he explained.
