Heartbroken, Dan Bigras announced the sad news

It’s on Facebook Dawn With a broken heart he announced his sad decision:

Hello everyone. Usually it’s a pleasure to announce the Show du Refuge. Today is difficult. Very difficult. My heart is broken, but after thirty-two years of hard work and great musical enjoyment, I am exhausted and running out of ideas. I have been doubting and postponing my decision for years…. decision made now. It’s time to make way for the others, the younger, the crazy…ourselves National Robert.

After the release of the 2022 show, I will no longer be at the helm of the show and will no longer be a representative of Refuge des Jeunes.

But the 32nd Show du Refuge will be on October 13 this year at Tohu and will be broadcast on Radio-Canada in December with our guests:

Jeanette Reno

Guylaine Tanguay

Yama

Samian

Marie-Nicole Lemieux

And of course, those at the first show, my old Voice friends:

Isabelle Boulay

Lulu Hughes and

Luce Dufault.

Many thanks to my former producer Guy Latravers. Without him, the show might have died after the first two years. Thanks also to the fantastic France Beaudoin and her team, I’d be bored. Big thanks also to @Radio-Canada for believing in us for 30 years. This is totally unprecedented and thanks to you in particular. Without you, this show would never exist.

Speaking of you, we need you again for our T-Guys this year. We would love to see you in Tohu.

Thank you very much.

friendships,
