Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for several areas in southern Quebec, including Gatino, Papino and Pontiac, where temperatures can exceed 33 ° C, with humidity of 40 ° C on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The Center de Services Scholar Kaur-des-Wallis announced on Monday that schools were closing.
“Due to the instructions announced on Monday, June 7, 2021, all schools, all centers and all daycare services of CSSCV will be closed,” the center administration said.
