Mirabel police are investigating a 21-year-old Quebecer whose noisy Lamborghini was seized this weekend, keeping Mirabel residents awake for weeks.
“I confirm that this weekend we seized the Lamborghini because our citizens are tired and exhausted from not sleeping. Unfortunately, we cannot give too many details because the investigation is ongoing”, affirms Log Jacques Caja, Mirabel police investigator.
According to our information, the young woman driving the luxury car is Amanda Levesque. The man, who grew up in Quebec City, especially in the Saint-Augustin district, had fun riding through the night for about three weeks.
On her social networks, Ms. Levesque can be seen proudly picturing her black Lamborghini, which makes a loud noise. The blond-haired young woman poses several times with sunglasses and her fiance next to her car.
“There is more than one suspect in this case,” Mr. Caja pointed out succinctly. He also said that the case will be handed over to the courts without giving further details.
Keep in mind that the driver has also received at least 13 tickets since the beginning of the year, mainly for speeding and screeching tires.
Double up on your sleeping pills
A resident of Mirabel claims that he has not slept for two nights in a row in the last three weeks due to car noise pollution.
“It was hell. We filed more than fifteen complaints with the police. It affected our mental health because we knew she was going to wake us up when we were sleeping. I even doubled the dosage of sleeping pills to relax,” says Francine, who prefers to withhold her last name for fear of reprisals.
She said her ordeal ended Sunday after Amanda Levesque repossessed the vehicle.
black beast”
On social networks, the Lamborghini has become a saga followed by residents of Mirabel, troubled by noise pollution. Many even call the young woman behind the wheel the “black beast.”
“It was a surprise this morning to go to the police station to make a complaint precisely for this vehicle. Thanks to the police… an early Christmas,” one resident wrote anonymously on a Facebook group.
An internet user shared a photo of Amanda Levesque’s car, which is now in the municipal pound, on her publication.

Patrick Charbonneau, the mayor of Mirabel, admits that this is the first time Mirabel’s tranquility has been disturbed.
“There are many questions about the safety of citizens. To make the car a lot louder, yes, there are modifications to the vehicle, but all of that can have elements of speed,” Mayer explains.
He also invites Quebec to review the Highway Safety Code to legislate against this type of behavior in the future.
“Especially for repeat offenders who disturb the peace of citizens. When you give a report on a modified car for nuisance and noise, unfortunately, there are no demerit points removed from the licence,” concluded Mr Charbonneau.
