I’m just asking the girl, Hugh Grant, to stop now.
Hugh Grant was a very talented actor, perhaps best known for his memorable roles in many iconic Rome-coms.
We know that re-playing his characters for the sequel is nothing new to him.
In an interview for his newest project, The unduing On HBO Max (co-starring Nicole Kidman), he was asked if he ever wanted to star in a romantic comedy. His answer, quite clearly, feels like a personal attack.
“I want to do a sequel to my own romantic comedy that shows what happened after those movies were over. To really prove all the horrible lies: This is the happy ending.”
“Me and Julia want to do that [Roberts] And there was a bizarre divorce, “he said Notting Hill. “With really expensive lawyers, tug of love, kids involved in a flood of tears. Scars forever mentally.”
And then he nodded before saying “I want to do that movie”.
Listen, I know Rome-coms are not the golden standard of actual romantic predictions, but please Mr. Hugh Grant, do not take Notting Hill Away from me, even ridiculously.
Hugh on this topic as well Recently In another interview he said he was happy to have his “lovely celebrity” days behind him.
And there is nothing wrong with that! We love versatility.
Leave Notting Hill Alone, please and thank you. ♥
