Quebec Solidaire co-representative Manon Mass announced Monday that she had contracted COVID-19 for the first time since the pandemic began.

“I have been very lucky so far, but it was my turn to get Covid. Don’t worry too much, I will be taking some time off in the next few days to heal myself and I will come back to you healthy! Take care of yourself,” said Mr.me Mass in a brief tweet posted on his Twitter account on Monday.

As of Saturday, Quebec reported 2,086 people hospitalized, two fewer than the day before. The trend is up 11% in a week, but is showing clear signs of slowing down.
However, 59 of those patients are in intensive care, five more than on Friday.
