When asked how Itzy would determine their exceptional type of songs, most important dancer Chaeryeong immediately claims: “I don’t want to define our tunes type! I want to attempt different models and tell our followers that we are all set and open up to displaying lots of unique factors.”
It can be this uninhibited zeal for new genres, sounds, and designs that completely encapsulates Itzy’s music. The 5-membered K-Pop team from JYP Entertainment — consisting of associates Lia, Ryujin, Yuna, Chaeryeong and Yeji — designed waves when they splashed onto the songs scene in February of 2019 with “DALLA DALLA,” an unapologetic club anthem about loving the components of themselves that make them unique from everybody else. Considering that then, the group has solidified themselves as a have to-view K-Pop group with their bold sound and inspiring lyrics that emphatically fortify the similar message: No make any difference what the earth may well say about you, you will find practically nothing improved than being your daring, confident, and legitimate self.
Itzy is back again with their third mini-album, Not Shy, on Aug. 17 (aka, currently!). The six-keep track of album sees the group take on new genres and make them their possess with their signature potent vocals, outstanding dance routines, and fierce lyrics. From rock and roll guitar riffs and punk rock vocals on “Never Give A What” to bubbly disco pop on “SURF,” Not Shy sees Itzy limitlessly take a look at their artistry and demonstrate off new sides of themselves, just like Chaeryeong stated.
