The comedian has revealed that he is coming to the end of his first tour One showBy name Kiss. The father said he wanted to be with his son Javier, 12, who is currently recovering from cancer, among other things.
In fact, he does not want to go too far from the latter, but the tour of the exhibitions makes him travel across the province for a long time.
Very good gesture from the father of two boys!
Here is the message he shared on his social networks.
My heart sank as the planned tour for my show “Bisou” was officially canceled. For the past two years my family and I have been very tired.
When we started the “Bisou” show, the conditions were not the same. In the meantime, many unpleasant things have come into my life (cancer, pandemic, separation, recurrence, operations, treatments and so on).
That means today I have to be transparent with you, ticket holders. I want to be an egg to my family. We want to spend quality time together and relax. It is my responsibility as parents to prioritize my children, my intellect, theirs and good family times instead of going on tour. We all deserve a little sweetness.
I’m only 38 years old and there are many other great opportunities to go to the four corners of Quebec to make you laugh. But for now: family first!
Thanks to the thousands of people who have tickets, if they have not already contacted you, you can contact your respective venues to arrange a refund or exchange
I would like to thank the broadcasters who understood from Javier’s confirmation. To venues where I can juggle dates to accommodate myself. Heartfelt thanks.
Thanks to Entourage. What a team! There are no words to say thank you for your understanding and support. They have been there since day 1 and were there the day I got a call from Ste-Justin in the middle of an interview when the show was coming up and they never backed down. Thank you.
Thanks to my manager. To be honest, I had no idea how you could handle that with me. You are my Yoda. (Not green in large udder).
Thank you, you came to see thousands of run-ins and bought thousands of tickets. I love you. Going to see you at night after the appointments at the hospital was inhumane, but your laughter warmed my heart.
I’m going to keep the radio on CKOI every lunchtime, eventually I’m going to have other projects, but for now my priority is my family.
I wish you health. Take care of yourself during these dark times. Go to shows, go to restaurants, spend quality time with the people you love.
PS: Javier is getting better and we take it every day.
Jules is top shape and the best little brother in the world.
Shortly before this summer, Jonathan announced that his son Javier had a recurrence of cancer. On July 22, a 12-year-old girl underwent surgery. Since chemotherapy is not effective against this cancer, intervention is inevitable and essential. He had two one-centimeter wounds.
“To the uninitiated, Xa has had a recurrence of brain cancer. Tumors have returned to his spine. “We have five years and we are starting the healing process again …” said the father passionately. Tower.
Jonathan Roberz often publicly emphasized the courage and resilience of his little boy, whose charming face was discovered by people on the web series. Dad. Jonathan Roberz is also the father of four-year-old Jules, who was born because of his relationship with his ex-wife Leah Londero.
