Kovid-19: 1,043 new cases in Quebec, another 15 dead

Recent data on the evolution of COVID-19 show that in the last 24 hours, in Quebec, 1,043 new cases and 15 additional deaths were reported.

Situation in Quebec on 23 April

• 1,043 new cases, infected a total of 342,688;
• 320,302 recovered;
• 15 new deaths – for a total of 10,860 deaths -, namely:
• 6 deaths in last 24 hours,
• 7 deaths between April 16 and 21,
• 2 deaths by April 16,
• 684 hospitals, a decrease of 27 compared to the previous day;
• 172 in intensive care, 2 decreases compared to the previous day;
• 46,993 samples were taken on April 21st.

Vaccine

• 90,225 doses included, i.e. 88,006 doses in the last 24 hours and 2,219 doses before April 22, for a total of 2,679,907;
• A total of 3,066,969 doses were received;
• There is no overdose to receive this week since deliveries are complete.
