During the Les sciences et les femmes conference presented at the Musée de la Civilization on Thursday evening, aerospace engineer Farah Alibe spoke about the beauty of Mars and astronomer Nathalie Oullet demonstrated her vision of the universe. In the photo, we see them with Olga Furman, master of ceremonies, lawyer and managing partner of Norton Rose Fulbright’s Quebec office.
“I’m really good at mission development [de celles-ci]Testing, I want to do this and often, I’m going to operate for three to six months during the commission, ”she explained in an interview with the Muse de la Civilization yesterday. Science and women Quantino is a high-tech incubator of INO.
Not always routine
“We agree that Mars is not always normal. But now that it’s become a bit more routine, the uniqueness is different. For me, it’s time to go back to the basics of what I want to do, I want a new challenge,” she said.
In her new NASA project, SPHEREx, she is unlikely to get bored.
It aims to launch a telescope into Earth orbit in 2025 to survey the sky in infrared light.
“We’re going to study the beginning of the universe and its expansion, the structure of galaxies, where water in galaxies comes from,” Cubeser said with shining eyes.
“It always drives me of curiosity. It’s a bit of a small mission for sure. It also means the team is small, but that’s a big role for me. Technically, I have a lot more responsibilities,” said the person who was appointed chief engineer of Flight Systems.
Meet students
Farah Alibe will personally meet 450 elementary school children today at two schools in Limoilou.
“For me, it is important to show a different model in science. […] When I was a kid, we didn’t see a lot of racial women, I didn’t have much Ideal. […] Follow your dreams, my message is to dream big, ”she said.
