"Love is in the meadow": a peasant invention

Nuvo on Tuesday unveiled the images of the five new farmers who will be participating in the ‘Love is in the Meadow’ season.

Anne-Sophie, 24, beef, poultry and maple syrup producer. A newly elected municipal councilor for the city of Neuville in the Capital-National Region, Anne-Sophie is active, driven and ambitious. She studied agritourism management before joining the family farm and is now looking for a manual man who is settled and ready to share her hectic daily life.

Elisabeth, also 24, lives in Saint-Gabriel-de-Rimauschy in Bas-Saint-Laurent. She is a cattle producer and horse breeder. Energetic, Elisabeth has a great passion for horses and has just entered the rodeo circuit. Determined, she searches for her “rag,” a handsome, charismatic cowboy who can help her on the farm and who can follow her on all her adventures.

38-year-old Guillaume is the dean this season. A dairy and grain producer in Rivière-Ouelle, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Guillaume is a gentle, brave man who takes pride in his job as a farmer. Alone for years, he is looking for a girl to take him out of his everyday life. He wants to meet his life partner, a bright, honest and understanding woman.

Marc-Antoine, 27, wants to start a family and dreams of watching his children run around the farm when he was young. Marc-Antoine, a dairy and maple syrup producer in Saint-Philemon in Chaudière-Appalaches, has a sense of humor and strong family values. He wants to find a lively girl with whom he can share simple moments.

Robert, Bobbi for friends, 27 years old and looking for an ambitious girl, ready to invest in a relationship and outgoing. Resourceful, curious and introverted in nature, Bobby was surrounded by his parents and his three sisters who occupied an important place in his life. He is a dairy and field crop producer in Howick, Monterrey.

In its first 10 seasons, “Love is in the meadow” contributed to the creation of 17 couples and the birth of thirty children. The show returns to Noovo and Noovo.ca on January 12, starting at 8 p.m.
