Montreal and Laval
After discussions with Public Health, the Montreal and Laval areas are currently red.
“This trend should continue for a while,” said Horacio Arruda, director of public health, about the good people of Montreal and Laval.
“If the trend continues, everyone can switch to orange on Monday, June 7,” Prime Minister Legalt said.
When asked about the multiple meetings observed in Quebec over a long weekend, Franకోois Legalt reiterated that the population should be careful.
“The order to the police does not change. We want to enforce the instructions. So we will gradually deconfine (…) We must be careful. If we can deconfine as we thought, we should not review what we saw on the beaches over the weekend.”
