Netflix is ​​testing a regular, outdated TV channel

If you occasionally get caught up in the endless Netflix scroll, the new feature will decide what to look for in yourself. Since early November, Netflix has been testing a “channel” called Direct in France, where subscribers can tune in and watch already scheduled programming.

The Direct Channel broadcasts real-time movies and TV shows available on Netflix. The trial in France lasts a month and will begin on November 5. Why France? Because “traditional TV consumption [in France], “Netflix said in a statement (Via Indiewire), “Most viewers like the programming idea, they don’t have to choose what they want to see.”

Direct also helps subscribers discover previously unknown content. “Whether you’ve inspired or you find Netflix for the first time, you’ll be able to guide yourself for the first time without choosing a specific title and you will be amazed at the diversity of Netflix’s library.”
