According to a study published by the company dot2, 10 of the 15 cheapest cities for renters are in Quebec.

Tenants in nine Quebec cities pay an average of less than $1,000 for their rent, according to data provided by the organization.

Residents in Oakville, Ontario pay more for their mortgage or rent.

Tenants in Trois-Rivières spend the least on their rent at an average of $676 per month.
