The Legalt government will announce this afternoon that it is rejecting GNL Quebec’s controversial Énergie Saguenay project.

According to information reported by the newspaper Destiny On Wednesday, the decision will already be taken and confirmed in the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers in the morning.
The fight against climate and climate change should be announced at a press conference at the Le Le Montagnois Hotel in the Benoit Charret, Chikoutimi sector by the minister in charge of the region, Andre Lafarge.
For several weeks now, the tiles have been on the natural gas liquefaction industrial complex project in the port of Saguna, GNL Quebec has been developing for over six years now.
Legalt is eagerly awaiting the government’s decision, especially by environmental groups, who want the project to be rejected for good.
Three opposition parties in Quebec are against it. The Liberal Party of Quebec, which had previously supported the project, changed its tune just a few days before the Office of Public Hearings on the Environment (BOP) published an unfavorable report last March.
