The Canadian players received a nice visit before Monday night’s game against the Canucks.
Captain Shia Weber came to greet his comrades, who were glad to see him again, especially Alexander Romanov.
Weber also used the opportunity to participate in their traditional soccer game at the Bell Center Halls as he does before each game.
Under a Canadian Twitter post, several supporters linked Weber’s visit to the vacant CH leadership position. Is it a coincidence?
The 36-year-old veteran has been out of the squad since the start of the season, preferring to stay in his native British Columbia to deal with a number of ailments that could prevent him from playing another game in the league.
Weber, who scored 589 points in 1,038 games, played his last game last July when he lost the CH Game 5 and the Stanley Cup playoff final to Tampa Bay Lightning. This is the Defender’s first presence at this stage of the spring dance.
