The website, created by the Regroupment of Housing Committees and Tenants Associations in Quebec (RCLALQ), aims to help people respond to specific situations.
“We have found complete information and it is also intended to be popular so that it is as accessible as possible to renters in Quebec. We will find all the information that tenants need to know their rights and, above all, how to protect them,” explained RCLALQ spokesperson Cédric Dussault in an interview with LCN.
For the organization, it is important to rely on a practical approach, because we “need not only to know what the law is, but also to know what we should do.” According to Mr. Dassault, this is also what differentiates this new tool from others like Educaloy.
The site is accessible to everyone through this link: https://locataire.info/.
