The PS5 console requires an Internet connection for the exclusive Godfall

The developer insisted that you need to be connected to the Internet to enjoy the PlayStation 5 console exclusive Godfall when it launches on November 12 and that it is not a “service game”. “Godfall is not a service game, but requires an internet connection to play,” a spokesman said. It is unclear why the need arises, but it goes without saying that fans are not happy. Some have pointed out that the title will not play if its servers are ever closed, but we think this will not happen for a few more years – especially if the title is successful.
