Thousands of Quebecans make appointments for the first dose

Nearly 7,000 Quebecans made an appointment for the first dose of the Kovid-19 vaccine on Tuesday, surpassing 5,000 registrations as of Monday..

Appointments for the first dose are on the rise in the province, Health Minister Christian Dube said in a tweet.

When asked if these figures could be linked to a possible introduction of the “vaccine tax”, the minister’s office replied: “One might think so, but can not imagine it”.

One man lined up to receive his booster dose said, “The time is near when they will set their minds.

Currently, 85% of people in Montreal are vaccinated, but the rate has dropped to 66% in the Outreach Borough. The ministry has yet to explain this important difference.
