In their first game since becoming the first NFL team to experience in-season coronavirus outbreaks, the Tennessee Titans looked great. The Titans forced a turnover on Buffalo Bills’ first drive and took a 7-0 lead. They then added a long punt return from Khalifa Raymond and a second touchdown down the first half. And they added an effective two-minute drive from Ryan Tonnehill and company, which ended in another touchdown.
Breakout Bills quarterback Josh Allen did well to keep the defense in check, having 10 passes in 21 for 124 yards, a touchdown (on a jet sweep touch-pass) and an interception. The Titans also limited the Buffalo running game, catching 21 yards behind in 10 carries. Two small fields and effective passing from Tonnehill (13 of 18 for 135 and one touchdown, another score on the field) gave the Titans a half-lead 21-10.
