Two passengers were alone on a three-hour commercial flight

A French couple suffered an unusual burglary on Wednesday. After a week’s vacation in Morocco, they were the only passengers on board the Airbus A319 to return to their country, Le Progrès reported.

The 140-seater plane traveled 2442 km in just three hours with only a couple on board.

They were treated to a fully personalized service and champagne lunch.

“We felt really privileged. We were treated like VIPs,” said the passenger in an interview with Le Progres.

The pair were the first to see their initial return flight canceled by Transavia, a subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group. The carrier forgot to notify them of this cancellation; So the two passengers found themselves at the airport without a plane to board.

Air France immediately responded and arranged a special flight for the couple.

Both passengers were treated to a personalized flight and unparalleled service, with some blaming the environmental bill for the incident. In fact, according to Air France’s carbon calculator, 8960 liters of kerosene were used to get the couple home. The aircraft released 319 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere.
