Vegetarian, Vegetarian, Vegan: What are the differences?

Vegetarians, vegans and vegans do not eat meat for specific reasons: to protect the cause of the animal, to improve its health, or to promote more sustainable agriculture. But what makes a vegan different from a vegan or vegan?
