The leaders of the four federal parties discussed three important issues for Canadians during an interview 2021 broadcast on TVA and LCN on Thursday evening.
Canada’s Liberal Party leader and outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Conservative Party leader Erin Otoley, New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh and Black Cubacos leader, Yves-Franకోois Blanchett, Kovid-19 pandemic, social policy and campaign .
Minute by minute interview:
The first theme: the pandemic
“We do not force anyone, but we limit the powers of those who do not want to be vaccinated,” Justin Trudeau said of the mandatory vaccination.
“Elections are important, because decisions are made now,” Justin Trudeau said in response to a question from Yves-Franకోois Blanchett on the idea of calling an election.
“The federal document will help people to travel across the country,” Jagmeet Singh said of the NDP’s proposal to implement a nationwide vaccination passport.
“Screening tests are very important. I would encourage vaccination, but we need to find reasonable accommodation,” said Erin O’Toole.
“80% of Canadians have done their part and since 20% don’t, are we saying we can’t have democracy?” Justin Trudeau attacked his decision to call an election in an epidemic.
“Why did you provoke the election with wildfires in the middle of the 4th wave and the situation in Afghanistan?”

“We need to create jobs in all areas, help SMEs that have been hit hardest by the pandemic, and stop spending so much because of the cost-of-living crisis caused by Mr Trudeau’s inflation,” Erin O’Toole said, questioning how he wants to achieve a balanced budget.
“This is an odd reading of economics. Does anyone know that there is a shortage of workers?
“By Ottawa standards, everyone seems to be suggesting that it’s better. If it’s Canadian, it’s better than Quebec,” Yves-Franకోois Blanchett lamented when asked what he thinks of the hectomomb experienced in CHSLDs at the onset of the epidemic.
