The Le Boulevard Shopping Center (CAB) in the Saint-Leonard Sector, Montreal, can continue its operations beyond 1.Is December 2021, the date on which the Society de Transport de Montreal (STM) becomes the owner of the land on which it stands due to the blue line extension.
Remember to take full possession of the shopping center. Its total acquisition was the result of Quebec’s administrative tribunal decision and was not anticipated by STM.
A solution to manage CAB’s operations is “developed and provided to tenants,” the Ministry of Transport said in a statement on Friday.
“Action Group proposes to review the terminal size, parking area and storage of site materials so that the building can be preserved, so that traders can continue to provide quality goods and services to residents,” it said.
To do this, the construction site will need to renovate some part of the exterior and access the building. Work will begin in the spring of 2022 and will take place over a period of approximately five years.
