Mangoes, Gaming, Cosplay … Geek Days are back in Lille this weekend!

For her 5th edition, The festival of Geek Days Come back December 4 & 5, 2021 in Lily Large palace. It’s a meeting place for those who follow geek culture: two days dedicated entirely to pop-culture. 150 Exhibitors and Events, Distinguished Guests and Dedications: The Exhibition is dedicated to 30,000 visitors, Some surprises.

Some big names in pop culture

There will be some celebrity guests this weekend. Festival organizers were keen to keep the vocal profession in front of the stage. Voice actors Eric Legrand and Pierre Alain de Garrigs attend Dragon Ball and League of Legends respectively to highlight their careers.

On the gaming side, YouTuber Frizeel, which specializes in MinCraft, hosts Marcus or YouTuber Carol microphone to Game One Channel to provide discussions and dedication, all hosted by YouTuber SweetNyle. Some big names in pop culture to ensure 100% geek programming this weekend.

3 animated scenes

The animations are expanded into three stages: the main stage, the cosplay stage and the Just Dance stage.

On the main stage, guests will discuss and answer questions from the audience, but there will also be quizzes and video game tournaments, including FIFA, Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7.

In the cosplay scene, the French Cosplay Cup (costume inspired by a fictional character) is selected. Finally, the Just Dance stage welcomes Dina, the French champion of Just Dance.

Background animations

This gaming and pop-culture weekend, we will find themed events in the alleys of the Lille Grand Palace. And what would a geek weekend be like without the retrogaming space? Hence the availability, arcade machines, retro consoles and even a big gameboy!

For car enthusiasts, there will be some iconic pop-culture on display: from Harry Potter, Flash McQueen (cars) to the famous De Lorian from Back to the Future, Geek Days Festival organizers want to reach a wider audience on this 5th. Edition.
