Ottawa Police Acting Chief Steve Bell spoke on the continued police action to end the illegal protest.

“We have made significant progress in the peaceful demolition. We have issued several warnings to the protesting protesters,” said Steve Bell.

“We have all the resources to continue,” said the Ottawa Police Acting Chief

The leader stated that his team had to use resources such as irritating gases to push the audience back after seeing violent gestures.

“We have all seen protesters being aggressive towards the police and we had to use horses to change our technology. We decided today to equip our police officers with batons and helmets for security,” he said.
