Actor and puppeteer Roger Giguere died Saturday night at McGill University Health Center at the age of 77.
Roger Giguere is suffering from lung atrophy. He is survived by his wife Nicole and his only son Francis.
Roger Giguere is best known for appearing in several flagship television shows of the 60s and 70s. Captain Snowman, Cabin at Midas And At Prof. Rock.
Roger Gigure brings to life Monsieur Tranquil, the famous character of the series. Patoff’s journeyLater hosted his own show, Monsieur Tranquil is the world, which aired on Télé-Métropole in 1978-1979. However, the puppet show lasted for only one season before being cancelled.

Mr. Giguere returned to television by accepting a few roles in the 90s series.
Parallel to this career on the small screen, Roger Giguer developed his talent as a comedian and actor on the boards of theaters, where he played multiple roles alongside Gilles Latulippe.
Roger Giguere died just a month and a half after his partner TannersPierre Marcotte, aged 83, died in mid-July.
