The actor who played Harry – one of the famous thieves in “Mom, I Missed the Plane!” – Returned to the many injuries sustained during the filming of the movies and especially when he needed to be set on fire.

This is what Joe Pesci said in a recent interview with the American magazine “People” on the 30th anniversary of the second film in the franchise.
Admitting that this type of comedy is “more physical, so it’s a little more demanding,” the actor, who played one half of the heist duo with Daniel Stern, particularly remembers the moment Kevin caught fire on his head in a trap set by him. By Macaulay Culkin.
“In addition to the usual bumps, bruises and pain associated with this type of physical comedy, I suffered severe burns on my head during the scene where Harry’s hat caught fire,” he recalled.
And Joe Pesci didn’t have to suffer this fate once, but twice as his character chased young Kevin through a kitchen during a 1992 film remake.
“[J’avais] It is fortunate to have professional stuntmen for massive stunts,” he said.
The actor still has fond memories of filming this franchise.
“It’s a nice change to do this kind of slapstick comedy,” he told the outlet.
