A 9-year-old American girl survives a very rare mountain lion attack

A 9-year-old girl camping in the northwestern United States state of Washington has survived a rare mountain lion attack on a man, said her uncle, who opened the kitty in a row.

Her uncle’s appeal for financial help, including health expenses, along with photos of the young woman on her hospital bed, had large bruises on her face, such as severe scratches.

Since 1924, only 20 people in this wild, mountainous state have been attacked by mountain lions and two people have died, according to the Washington State Conservation Agency.

One of its spokespersons told the local television station that they were investigating to better understand the circumstances of the attack and that the person at the scene would be analyzing the body of the animal that had been shot, specifically identifying possible illnesses.

Attacks by pumice, also known as cougar, are very rare, but if they do occur, authorities recommend that you do everything you can to “wake up and fight back” and, above all, do not try. Run away or play hide and seek.
