She announced Tuesday that she will soon relinquish her position, following the departure of Danielle Gelinas, who took over as president and chief executive officer in June 2019.
His time at the FEQ was marked above all by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the cancellation of the event in 2020 and featured a reduced formula in 2021.
“With the strength of the circumstances, she explains in a press release, my mandate in crisis management has become one: to allow the company to survive the pandemic. For two years, with the whole team, we have rethought the company, adopted a new strategic plan, created Bleufeu, and finally organized our big event this summer. Ms. Hudon has indicated that she will remain in office for a limited period of time, to allow the board of directors to plan her succession.
