Another admirable gesture by JJ Watt

Another admirable gesture by JJ Watt

Arizona Cardinals star JJ Watt is reportedly paying for the funeral of six people who died in a car ramming attack in Waukesha, Wise last Sunday.

That’s what Wisconsin-based reporter Corey Jennerzon reported on Twitter on Tuesday. The player who went with the greetings on the day of the incident did not confirm this information.

“I sincerely hope that everyone is safe and that those who were not involved are safe now. Thanks to everyone who rushed to help the injured, ”the NFL player wrote on his Twitter account.

The tragic incident took place during the annual Christmas parade in the city. The driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) deliberately grabbed the crowd, killing six and injuring nearly 50 others. The 39-year-old is facing five attempted murders.

Watt grew up in Waukesha and played part of his college football with the Wisconsin Badgers. This is not the first time he has taken out his purse to help tragic victims.

In 2017, when Houston wore Texans colors, Watt raised about $ 40 million to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The following year, he paid for the funeral of those killed in a school shooting in Santa Fe.

Football-wise, Watt appeared in seven games and collected 16 tackles in seven games during the campaign. The shoulder injury ended his season in week seven of the Goodell Tour.
