The two main elements of the Black Cubacois platform, which was unveiled at the conclusion of the political party congress in Saint-Hysinthe on Sunday, are the environment and identity.
Among the recognizable measures for the environment, as in 2019, the party proposed a “green equalization” that would promote transfers between provinces in line with the effort granted to environmental transformation.
In addition, there is a promise to oppose any new oil project that crosses the territory of the provinces, “it will intensify oil pipelines or rail transport intended for export”.

Apparently addressing his family, the Black leader said his party had “candidates with all the diversity of Quebec today”.
The campaign slogan, “Québécois”, indicates the party’s stance on the question of identity: Mr Blanchett wants to turn his platform into a defense against “Quebec”. Beating By rebuilding Quebec’s image internationally through special diplomatic effort as well as propaganda.

He apologized for the reduction in coverage provided to Quebec in international magazines and, most often in bad terms, especially when it came from the United States and Canada.
“It’s been working on me for a long time, it’s been bothering me for a long time,” he said.
It should be noted that the word “independence” does not appear in the platform text.
“This time politics was determined by measuring independence with independent-o-meter people [dans le parti]”For me, it’s completely over,” the black leader explained.
The intention is not to isolate itself from the idea of Quebec independence, which will always be in the context of the proposals of the day, but should not be turned into a propaganda item in the event that the latter does not exist. . t is not in favor of the majority of the population, Mr. Blanchett explained.
But for the latter, Quebec “compromised with the block”.
“We have succeeded in imposing the Quebec Voice. We have compelled all parties to respect us,” he said.
Black Cubacois hopes to win 40 seats this year, eight more than the 2019 election, and the minority government wants an election that will have a greater impact on rival parties on the legal agenda.
