McDonald’s Canada said in a statement that the McDonald’s restaurant in Cambridge was closed after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.
The company said the restaurant at 100 Jamison Parkway closed on Oct. 23 after an employee reported a positive Kovid-19 test.
“With great care, the certified third party decided to close the restaurant immediately for complete cleaning and sanitation,” McDonald’s Canada said in a statement.

“Since we know our guests rely on their local McDonald’s, we’re working hard to reopen it safely and we’re committed to doing our part to help our communities.”
Information that employees who have close relationships with their aggrieved coworker are asked to be self-isolated.
McDonald’s said staff worked at the restaurant on their last shift on October 21 from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

They are asking any patrons in the restaurant to follow the Ontario Public Health Advice Agency Website.
