Dr. Julian J. Kavanagh, assistant professor of neurology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, reports.
“In the last twenty years we have made extraordinary progress in autoimmune diseases. We are beginning to understand the underlying mechanisms,” explains Dr.
However, Dr. Canavagh assures that PRS is not a disease to be taken lightly.
“I watched and reviewed this video [de Céline Dion]And every time, she takes me bravely, because we see that she tries to do everything to make us understand what she is doing,” emphasized the doctor.
“And it’s not a quid, in fact, these muscle contractions are impossible to relieve without treatment. You need powerful treatments to relax the muscles,” he says.
Dr. Kavanagh went further and said that thanks to his video, Celine Dion was able to make history.
“I believe this video is a moment in the history of neurology because we watch it, we broadcast it in classes of neurology residents because it is so well explained from the emotional point of view of the patient. There is so much humanity,” he noted.
Dr. Kavanagh remains cautious about Celine Dion’s return date. It seems unrealistic that she will be back in a few weeks, but she will be in good enough shape in a few months to do some shows again.
“You still have to remember that being an artist of Celine Dion’s caliber is a true athlete. The tour is like the Olympic Games, so getting back in shape to go on tour again is very ambitious,” the doctor believes.
However, he points to the resilience and willpower of the Canadian diva and believes that the human body is capable of feats that amaze even the best doctors.
