CF Montreal wasted many great scoring opportunities, but still found their way to success.
Victor Vanyama scored from the penalty spot during a stoppage in the second half as Montreal beat the New York Red Bulls 2-1 at Saputo Stadium on Saturday night.
Vanyama defeated Carlos Miguel Coronal on the Montreallers’ third penalty try.
