Two NDP candidates quit their campaign after making rampant anti-Semitic comments on social media.

Sydney Coles running in Toronto – st. Paul, and Dan Osborne, are candidates in Cumberland – Colchester, Nova Scotia, no longer eligible to represent the New Democratic Party (NDP).
For Jagmeet Singh, the candidates made the “right decision” by withdrawing the campaign. “Let me be clear: their comments are completely outside and have no place in our party,” he told a news conference on Wednesday morning.

For his part, Mr Osborne commented on Twitter in 2019: “Is Auschwitz a real place?” (“Auschwitz is a real place? 2)
“Anti-Semitism is real,” the NDP leader said, lamenting that “anti-Semitism is growing alarmingly.”
The next two candidates said they would seek information on the matter.
Deadline to submit candidates. The NDP did not replace the two missing seats.
