Florida fall: The day before the tragedy a resident heard disturbing noises

A resident of an apartment building that collapsed Thursday morning in Florida heard disturbing noises the day before the tragedy.

The woman, who has been missing since the collapse of a 12-storey building complex in Surfside Florida, told CNN in an interview with her son Pablo Rodriguez that she heard ear-splitting noises the day before the tragedy.

He had no news yet from her and her grandmother who lived in the same place.

At least 35 people were able to pull out of the wreckage in the first few hours, but authorities confirmed another 159 were missing. And less information is sent to families, Rodriguez said.

“We try to keep hope, but after watching the collapsed video, it becomes more difficult because they were in this section of the collapse, and then the other building fell on it. It’s hard to watch,” the man explained.

The day before the building collapsed, Mr Rodriguez’s mother woke up in the middle of the night to strange noises, the man told the U.S. news channel CNN.

“She told me she woke up at 3-4 in the morning and heard cracks. Like crackles, it’s loud enough to wake her up, but it’s still. I thought it’s nothing. She did not sleep well. She told me that the noise woke her up and then could not go back to sleep. , Backwards, I was shocked, ”Mr. Rodriguez explained.
