Vignelt sends a message to Konek

Despite being one of the Philadelphia Flyers’ top scorers since the start of this season, Travis Konekney was dropped by Alain Vignelt for the game against the Islanders. True, the Quebec coach was not entirely satisfied with the Ontario player’s work.

“I believe it [Konecny] One of our first three forwards. He has incredible ability and does great things like go in front of the net and score big goals for us, ”Vignelt commented in an interview with NHL.com.

«[Par contre] His 5v5 game should be better in some ways. I had a good chat with him this morning and I hope to play in the right way next time he is in training. “

In his absence, Quebec striker Samuel Morin will have the opportunity to play his first game of the season.
