He thanked the mechanics for their effort to repair his gearbox, which allowed him to make a few more laps.

“It’s not so busy for me. I only have one day left to practice before I get back here for the race and I continue to learn about the car,” Vettel commented.

“Fortunately, things were much better this afternoon for Lance, which allowed us to gather important information. We want tomorrow to be a more normal day for us. ”
