G7 will then personally receive Queen Elizabeth II Joe Biden on June 13

Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Thursday that Queen Elizabeth II would personally receive US President Joe Biden on June 13, the last day of the G7 summit in southwest England.

The 95 – year – old Emperor’s leader meets with First Lady Jill Biden in Windsor Castle, west London.

The sovereign, who received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, has since kept most of her commitments, including inquiries with foreign ambassadors. Her first public appearance since the funeral of her husband, Prince Philip, after the official opening of Parliament on May 11.

With the exception of Lyndon B. Johnson, the Queen has met with all US Presidents during her 69 years in office. She received Mr Biden’s ancestor Donald Trump during a controversial state visit in June 2019.

The meeting comes from June 11 to 13 at the G7 summit in Cornwall during the US President’s visit to England with the leaders of Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom.

The summit will also be for the American leader who took office in January, his first engagement abroad, as the epidemic has so far been limited in his travels.

He will travel to Brussels for the NATO leaders’ summit on June 14, followed by the EU / United States summit and then to Geneva on June 16 with Vladimir Putin.
