GIGABYTE has expanded its AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY graphics card lineup during COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei, marking a major addition to the company’s 40th anniversary showcase. The new series broadens the INFINITY family beyond the flagship RTX 5090 model introduced earlier this year at CES, bringing the design and cooling platform to additional high-performance GPUs aimed at gaming enthusiasts and PC builders.
The expanded range now includes the GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 models, all built around a unified design language focused on thermal performance, cleaner cable management, and compatibility with modern custom PC setups.
GIGABYTE Expands RTX 50 INFINITY Series
The latest AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY cards continue GIGABYTE’s focus on premium gaming hardware and enthusiast-level PC components. The company says the new lineup has been designed to deliver consistent performance and aesthetics across different performance tiers, giving gamers and creators more options when building or upgrading desktop systems.
The launch comes as demand for advanced graphics hardware remains strong among gamers, content creators, and AI-focused workloads, including in markets such as Canada where high-performance PC gaming continues to grow alongside esports and creator communities.
WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling System Introduced
At the centre of the new graphics cards is GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system. The company says the design works alongside its Double Flow Through architecture to improve airflow and thermal efficiency during intensive workloads.
The cooling system enables airflow to pass through both sides of the backplate, helping maintain stable temperatures during gaming sessions or demanding rendering tasks. GIGABYTE also highlighted its patented Hawk fan technology, which it says increases air pressure by 53.6 per cent and air volume by 12.5 per cent compared with previous designs.
A dedicated Overdrive fan is positioned in the centre of the graphics card and operates with an independent fan curve. According to the company, the fan activates under heavier system loads to provide additional cooling when needed.
Rear Power Connector Aims for Cleaner PC Builds
One of the most noticeable design changes in the new INFINITY models is the relocation of the power connector to the rear side of the graphics card.
GIGABYTE says the change allows builders to route cables behind the motherboard tray, creating a cleaner internal layout and simplifying cable management. The approach also aims to make installation and future maintenance easier, particularly for custom gaming PCs where airflow and visual presentation are increasingly important considerations.
The cable stealth design reflects a wider trend in the PC hardware industry toward minimalist and showcase-style builds featuring tempered glass cases and RGB lighting.
RGB Halo Lighting and Compact Design
The new graphics cards also feature GIGABYTE’s RGB Halo lighting system and a nacelle-inspired outer light ring, allowing users to customize lighting effects through the company’s software ecosystem.
Despite the added cooling hardware and lighting features, GIGABYTE says the cards maintain a compact form factor intended to support compatibility with a broad range of PC cases. The company says the design is intended to sustain stable performance during prolonged gaming and productivity workloads.
COMPUTEX 2026 Highlights GIGABYTE’s 40th Anniversary
The launch forms part of GIGABYTE’s broader 40th anniversary presentation at COMPUTEX 2026, one of the technology industry’s largest annual trade events. The company says the AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY series reflects its ongoing emphasis on thermal engineering, performance optimization, and user-focused hardware design.
Visitors attending COMPUTEX 2026 can view the new products at GIGABYTE’s consumer booth at Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 in Taipei. Additional product details are also available through the company’s official website.
As graphics hardware competition continues to intensify, manufacturers are increasingly focusing not only on raw GPU performance but also on cooling efficiency, build flexibility, and overall system aesthetics. GIGABYTE’s latest INFINITY series appears aimed at addressing all three areas for enthusiasts seeking premium next-generation gaming hardware.
